Dimitri Katsachnias is a multicultural expert in Brand creation and development with a track record of successes all over the world. He has excellent knowledge of markets and cultures in Europe, Asia and the Americas. He is a hands-on visionary that acts as an entrepreneur, a strategist, a marketer and new business developer.

Since 2003, Dimitri Katsachnias has been the President and CEO of the AIR Paris Group, a full-service agency with extensive experience in brand development, advertising and communications. Acting as a strategic consultant, a business developer and a creative director at the same time, AIR PARIS services include brand strategy and positioning, brand creation and development, new product concepts, 360°advertising, branding, digital and social brand experience, and packaging design.

Before Air Paris, Dimitri Katsachnias spent many years in senior positions at some of the world’s pre-eminent luxury and beauty brands, and has been deeply involved in product and brand design and development.

He joined L’Oreal in 1984 at the World Headquarters in Paris and consecutively occupied positions in Marketing at L’Oréal Paris, as Managing Director of the L’Oreal Luxury Products Greek Subsidiary (1989-1992), as International Marketing Director, Lancôme Skincare at the International Headquarters in Paris (1992-1993), International Development Director for Lancôme (1994-1997), International Managing Director for Cacharel and Guy Laroche Fragrances (1997-2000) and International Managing Director of the Strategic Development of the L’Oréal Luxury Products Division (2000-2003).

His science background coupled with his innate creativity enabled Dimitri to bring a unique perspective and vision to brand development.

INSEAD Business School has developed a specific case study on Katsachnias’ re-launch of Parfums Cacharel and his method of brand creation is being taught in business schools around the world. He was among the very first who identified the need for a new approach in combining expertise in brand creation with top level creative talent.

Dimitri holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Queen Mary College, London, a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, London, and an MBA from INSEAD in France. He holds French and Greek Nationalities and divides his time between Paris and New York. He travels regularly to China.
