A creative director, designer and leader with 17+ years of experience in the luxury beauty and fashion industry. Jon’s vast experience ranges over many different types of designer, lifestyle and celebrity brands focusing on multiple mediums and creative solutions.
With formal training in graphic design and photography, he embodies the right mix of creativity, design and a strong business sense.
Jon is the owner and Creative Director of Jon Michael Design, a creative, packaging and branding agency. His current clients include Sarah Jessica Parker, Coty, Estee Lauder, Eve Lom and India Hicks.
Prior to Jon Michael Design, Jon was the Creative Director and Vice President of Coty. There he designed and launched many fragrance and cosmetic brands under some of the most well known names in the world. The larger brands he oversaw were Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Balenciaga, Vera Wang and SJP. In earlier years, he worked closely with Madonna, Gwen Stefani and Jennifer Lopez.
While at Coty, Jon lead a team of approximately 20 design and production members. Providing overall brand vision and leadership, his role included the creative development for all new brands, package design, graphic design, in-store design, photography, production, promotions and more.
Prior to joining Coty, he held design positions at Mac Cosmetics, David Yurman and Donna Karan Cosmetics.
He prides himself on exceptional creativity and execution while staying true and pure to the brand's dna and strategic vision.
